This hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was coming back home. The owners, Michael and Regula, greeted me with such warmth and kindness, making my stay incredibly special. The staff, especially the lovely girls, were always smiling and helpful, adding to the wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and amazing views from the balcony. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the decor to the bathroom facilities, was exceptional. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast and dinner prepared by Michael, who is a fantastic chef. This hotel exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to come back!

The rooms offer amazing views, and I loved having a bath in the bathroom. The attention to detail and the value for money were spot on. Plus, the breakfast included was a great way to start the day!

The attention to detail is remarkable, with thoughtful amenities such as lights switches right next to your bed. The breakfast spread is amazing, featuring a wide variety of local foods including meats, cheeses, and breads. Additionally, the location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the bus stop and offering easy access to many local attractions in the Appenzell area.

Not one thing.

During our romantic escape, we were impressed by the picturesque location of the hotel surrounded by snow-capped mountains and greenery hills. the cozy ambiance of the room with spotless bedding and towels was perfect. We particularly enjoyed the delicious food served by friendly staff. the hotel's convenient location allowed us easy access to several attractions and cable cars.

Our only concern during the stay was the lack of air conditioning or fan in the room. Although opening the windows helped, it was still quite hot during summer nights which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

We stayed at a mountain hotel during Christmas, and the location was simply amazing! There was lots of snow, fresh air and beautiful scenery. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony view. The meals were delicious, and it was great that they had a fireplace in the dining area. We also enjoyed the fact that we could ski directly from the hotel to the slopes.

We were really disappointed that the staff didn't seem to be in the Christmas spirit at all. They were not friendly nor cheerful, which didn't help create a festive atmosphere.

We stayed in a beautiful mountain hotel for a few days, ideally located away from the big cities in the countryside. the view was magnificent, and we enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from our balcony. the room we were in was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. In the morning, we had a tasty breakfast, and we felt welcomed by the friendly staff.

The location was perfect for those who love nature and hiking, with stunning views of the mountains. Breakfast was a highlight of my stay, with delicious local foods including meats, cheeses, and bread.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
